Harvey Korman dead at age 81

Link
Harvey Korman has died at the age of 81. I am deeply saddened by this news. I have fond memories of watching him and Tim Conway cracking each other up on "The Carol Burnett Show". I have probably seen every single episode but the one skit that sticks out most in my mind is their "Gone With the Wind" spoof:

Part 2

RIP, Harvey. Keep them laughing up there in Heaven.

Pork & Beans

I love this new video from Weezer:

It has pretty much every big YouTube/viral video meme from recent years.

Boom Blox!

I went ahead and picked up the Boom Blox game on Sunday afternoon.  I played it for about two hours that evening and it is extremely fun.  There is a slight problem with it, however.  A lot of the game involves "throwing" baseballs or bowling balls at stacks of blocks to make them fall.  This requires making a throwing motion with the Wii remote and you have to throw the balls pretty hard.  When I woke up Monday morning I could barely move my right arm!  Even today it's still very sore!  I want to play it some more but right now I just can't.  It's too painful!
Granted I don't really get much physical exercise, especially in my arms, but I really can't believe that I'm this sore.

Yes, I know I'm a wuss.

Wii

I finally decided to buy myself a Nintendo Wii today. I had been thinking about it for a while but what pushed me over the edge was finding out about a new game called "Boom Blox". It's sort of a weird version of Jenga but not exactly. It was created by Steven Spielberg. I haven't gotten it yet. So far all I've done is played a game of bowling. I got a 163! Not bad considering I had never even touched a Wii before.

Done (sort of)

I think I got all my old posts moved to the new blog. Unfortunately I couldn't get the comments.
Oh well.

Changes

I have decided to stop using my .Mac for my blog and just use Blogger.com. This will enable me to post from anywhere and it's MUCH easier to use.
I'm in the process of moving my posts over to this blog so it may take some time.

Air Show!

I went out to the Fort Smith Air Show on Saturday the 17th. My brother was able to score us an excellent parking pass and VIP wristbands so we got to watch it from one of the sponsor tents. I won't say the show itself was the best one I've seen but the overall experience was the best. We didn't have to walk far at all from the parking spot, we had the tent to shield us from the sun, the portable bathrooms were right behind us, and we weren't crowded by tons of people.

I've posted some photos I took on my flickr page

Nature at it's fiercest

I heard about this on the Rush Limbaugh show. This is a photograph of the volcanic eruption in Chile last week:

From the UK Daily Mail:

"As clouds of toxic ash and dust tower into the sky, they ionise the air, generating an explosive electrical storm. Colossal forks of lightning spark around the noxious plume as it spews from the volcano's crater, creating an image of raw, terrifying energy - as if the air itself were ablaze."
